Debt Recovery

When a business cannot recover a debt from a customer it has to think of taking further action to recover the sum due. Mediation with the debtor might be used to resolve the position but if this fails starting court or insolvency proceedings may be the course to take particularly for larger debts. The ‘small claims track’ can be used for certain smaller debts. This is a relatively simple process and designed not to normally require legal representation, however professional advice is often needed in practice, we can help and be cost effective.

Choosing how to proceed with collecting a debt will depend on factors such as the size of the debt and the cost involved. If you are having difficulty in obtaining payment from a customer, it is best to seek our advice on how to proceed with your claim.

When you have problems getting paid the money owed to you, contact us for advice on 020 8891 4311.
