Boundary Disputes

If you want to know where your boundary should be and who owns it the starting point is always your title deeds. If your house has a title registered at the Land Registry there will be a scaled plan showing the boundaries but this is in general terms and may not be conclusive as to the exact line of the boundary and disputes can continue to fester.

These boundary disputes are always best resolved by mediation, compromise and agreement and we and the surveyors we can instruct can help achieve this before costly litigation ensues.

You may be concerned about your neighbours activity along the boundary between your home and theirs. We can advise you as to your rights and have experience with implementing the Party Wall Act.

Call us on 020 8892 4311 for more details on how we can help you.
